It seems that the trophy deer population is exploding (at least here
in Northwest Missouri anyway)! Apparently the four-point rule is
working. Everyone has their own opinion of a trophy though, so I'll
leave it at that. I also heard the other day that Nodaway county,
which is the county I reside in, may have the highest deer harvest
thus far this season. And from what I've seen while hunting, there are
plenty of deer left for the remainder of the muzzleloader season,
antlerless season, second bow season and late youth season.
